Jamyang’s History and The Old Courthouse

Built in 1869, The Old Courthouse is part of a rich landscape of Victorian buildings in London, now repurposed and reimagined for use in the modern world.
In 1995 Jamyang Buddhist Centre made The Old Courthouse its home, turning a place of harsh reform into a centre for mindfulness, community, wisdom and compassion.
